An author inflicts a hunger experiment on himself to overcome his writers block. The experiment gets out of control. The wheels of time grind on. An unidentified ship docks in the harbour. Inside the writer there's a worm that slowly consumes him.

A poetic and burlesque future vision created by the legendary British puppet theatre company Pickled Image and Norwegian TinkerTing, inspired by the novel Hunger by the Norwegian writer Knut Hamsun. A performance for adults (above 12 years) expressed without words.

TinkerTing is the actor and puppeteer Per Arne Løset's own company. Løset's background is from the theatre companies Hollow Creature, as an actor for Grusomhetens Teater, Sogn og Fjordane Teater and multiple theatre shows. www.tinkerting.no

Pickled Image is a puppet theatre based company based in Bristol, England. Was founded in 2000 and has since created, performed, lectured and worked for both film and theatre. Their productions have been performed indoor and outdoor venues all over the world. www.pickledimage.co.uk
